House in a tree - all round carving

Whimsical house in a tree cottonwood bark carving, done in the ''all-round'' form:



The carving is done out of one large piece a bark, cut into half and glued together with a cardboard between them. After the general shape is done and windows and doors are placed, the piece is ripped open to hollow the inside of the house, then glued back together this time fitting properly and without the cardboard:

I carved the whole thing in our backyard, sitting on the ground and leaning on the small birch tree:
