Hand carved Odin wood spirit in a large piece of cottonwood bark.
It has 17.5'' in height, 6.5'' in width and 3'' in thickness, I didn't hollow the bark so it weights almost 1.3 kg.
It is the very first carving inspired by Norse mythology I have done:
The inscription done in Futhark is from Hávamál in Edda.
It reads: ''Each word led me on to another word, each deed to another deed.''
The runes are darkened by one coat of dark mahogany gel stain.
