12'' Jackalpe head mount done in cottonwood bark with real antlers,
the base is carved out of mahogany.
The head carving without antlers is about 8'' in height.

To attach the antlers I mixed regular carpenters glue with cottonwood bark dust and used this mixture for both gluing and filling any small holes between the carving and the antlers:
Bungee cords are always handy.
Regular screws were used to attach the carving to the base, then I drilled a small
hole on the back so the piece could be displayed on the wall:
