One of the very few small card boxes for Magic the Gathering cards I have done this year, it is a personalized piece with design based on my older work incorporating mana symbols into the traditional Gothic pattern:
The box is finished with combination of Danish oil and dark mahogany gel stain. I am really glad I experimented with the oil as it is now completely replacing the use of polyurethane on my chip carved pieces:
