Balls in a (chip carved) cage

I hadn't done any ''ball in a cage'' carving for a long time so I decided to do one. Then I ended with two balls in a cage and chip carved all the sides of it, I don't even know how long it took me from start to finish but it was quite some time:

The knife and straight chisel did 95% of the carving:


Then the 5% of the job was left for sanding paper:


The chip carving took way longer than I imagined, but without it it would be just another simple carving... I am glad it is done now though:
