Cottonwood bark carving inspired by my memories of Ireland.
I am not sure if it still can be called 'a whimsical house carving' as I tried to capture the church ruins the same way as they can be seen around the country:
The bark is just 16.5'' tall but with its 6'' on the widest point and 4.5'' thickness it is quite a large chunk:
