I was one of the few wood carvers who did a small carving promotion at the PEI Winter Woodlot Tour in New Glasgow. The weather was really good, which was great for all the people around and for us sitting in the open tent with just a small heater...sitting and carving:

One could start spreading rumors this is the way the wood carving is done in Canada.
We were in for about 4 hours but I guess I carved just half of the time, my fingers were stiff.
I carried on the castle carving back home. It is a very neat piece of bark and with the memory of carving part of it on the snow it will be a pretty cool carving once it's finished:
