A chip carved quote in a large cottonwood bark slab.
It is about 17 on 9 inches big, the lettering and grass are finished with a coat of dark mahogany gel stain. The whole piece is quite dark and could have more contrast, I will try to use a different finish if I manage to find another such a large chunk of bark in the future.
