The very first wave of my raising army of Teddy bear guardians, I was waiting to have few of them done.
They are all carved out of cottonwood bark - from left to right: William, Ben and Freya of the bark shield:
The idea for the carvings was sparked by a funny 'meme' I've seen online - it portrayed a little teddy bear standing against a monster, protecting a sleeping child.
I always liked teddy bears so I was fairly touched by it :)
