12'' Cottonwood bark carving of ''Heart in the roots''.
The heart is fully released, yet cannot be taken out,
it is a very untraditional approach to the traditional 'ball in a cage' carving style:
The heart itself is about 4.5'' in both directions and almost 1'' thick.
It is finished with gold acrylic paint mixed with brown gel stain:
